ARGH I'm awake

I am just back from dc, cuddling my parrot and my cat, listening to music that is making me laugh. on the plane ride back to austin I sat next to someone who sparkled, downy brown hair falling down her back, pink hat, she was reading the amazing adventures... by michael chabon. I said, I hated that book. I said, do you want to know how it ends?

she smiled at me and said life? or the book?

life ends here... it crashes and crumbles. she laughed, high and tinkling, and she squeezed my hand hard, slender brown finger safety net.*

so happy to be home, to sit on my porch, proper, swirls of stars, beckoning black. cigarettes that sing. wheee.

UPDATE: I bought a shirt at anthropologie today that makes me look like a pirate. I went to get beer and suffixed every sentence with 'dammit!', but I don't think anyone knew what was going on. dammit!

UPDATE: to the person who sent papergoose the demo comprised all of backstreet boys samples: is this even legal?
